We came on a Saturday night without reservations after seeing it highlighted by Cory on the news. They couldn't offer us a table indoors and it was too cold to go outside. However, they have a speakeasy next-door called poppies office. It was wonderful. The ambience was so cute. I ordered the codfish and chips which they said was fresh cod. It was very good. My wife enjoyed her pulled pork sandwich. What was most interesting was I saw several people continually sanitizing the bar and wiping down the barstools too!

We come here pretty often. Sometimes for Happy Hour and sometimes for dinner. Happy Hour favorites are their tots, the burger special and brisket quesadillas. When we are here for HH, we keep an eye on the bill. Sometimes the drinks are charged at full price. But I digress. Last night we stopped in for dinner. We ordered one new dish and one favorite. The favorite was the half order of pulled pork with baked beans and a salad and our new one, the smoked prime rib dip with homemade chips. The half order is plenty for two meals given the sides and is both tangy and sweet. The prime rib sandwich was excellent. The horseradish dip could have been a little more spicy but everything else was great. We love their chips too. We had dinner at the bar and the service was great.

After I went in on Friday night I made it in for a late lunch around 2pm on Monday. Our wonderful waitress Stacy was there again. She was so happy to see us. She is so nice. I got the special "the old man burger". It was huge, hot and delicious. The fries were hot too. She gave me multiple refills on my ice tea. Oh and the ice tea was delicious too. She got the brussel sprouts. I tried a few or then and they were very good with the bacon they added to them. My buddy got the brisket sandwich and he really liked it. This is going to be my go to hang out when I am in town!!! The brisket and smoked prime rib there is to die for!!

Great happy hour! I really like the $18 combo. They offer a choice of a burger, pulled pork sandwich, blackened chicken sandwich, or chicken wrap with french fries and a draft beer, happy hour wine or nonalcoholic beverage. The sandwiches are full-sized. The restaurant is small and gets very crowded. They have a lovely patio that's awesome during cooler weather.

forgot to take a picture of the fish tacos before I dove in but as you can tell by the empty plate, they were delicious! They were on the small size, but they were on the happy hour menu and I got my glass of yummy red wine included a must try!

Stumbled on this place after a hike nearby. Since it was Thanksgiving morning, they were serving up a la cart and prix fixe Thanksgiving menu items. $33 for an entree or $55 for 3 courses. We weren't starving so we opted for the standalone entrees. BF got the Turkey dinner complete with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner roll, and cranberry sauce. I ended up getting the Seabass with mashed potatoes and green beans. In addition, he got their seasonal old fashion and I got their seasonal French 75. Food wasn't bad, drinks were good, and the service was wonderful. Lots of good people watching from the outside patio and almost felt like a car show with all the bougie cars driving past and onto the bridge towards the hot chocolate walk.
